Joseph Perry has been with the District of Columbia Office of Disciplinary Counsel for over ten years, and currently works as an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel in the litigation unit, investigating and prosecuting ethics matters involving attorneys licensed in the District of Columbia. Joe has taught the D.C. Bar’s Mandatory Ethics course (for new admittees to the bar) on multiple occasions, and has made varied ethics presentations for the National Organization of Bar Counsel and others. In the past, he has contributed to the Bar Counsel column in the Washington Lawyer, and has written articles concerning ethics and other issues for The Young Lawyer¸ the American Bar Association’s publication on behalf of the Young Lawyer’s Division.
