  • Your Session Proposal

  • Provide a session title. Please try to include keywords and topics covered by your talk.
  • In 150 words or less, provide a concise description of your session as you would have it appear on the conference website and app. Write in 3rd person, present tense.
  • In 3-4 bullets, tell us what the attendees will gain from this presentation. Give concrete examples and remember that ICLR attendees are experts in their field.
  • Please upload up to three files to support your session proposal. Uploads may include white papers, a resume, or CV.

    Thank you for your interest in speaking at ICLR 2020 in Chicago. In order to be considered, all fields must be completed including a brief abstract of your topic.

    ICLR will determine the audience experience level and track placement for all speakers.

    ICLR will review all submissions and contact you to discuss the topic if needed. Chosen speakers will be sent a formal confirmation with event dates.

    Presenter warrants to conference organizer that all parts of the Biography, the Presentation, and the Documentation which are presented as factual in nature and accurate, and that the Biography, the Presentation and the Documentation will not wrongfully disclose confidential information or otherwise violate the legal rights of any third party.

    Presenter does not own any copyright in templates or graphics provided by conference organizer, or other materials not created by the presenter. Presentation content copyright is assigned to the presenter and presenter grants ICLR distribution and republication rights of the presentation and other conference materials for purposes of the ICLR 2020. Speakers are not permitted to display copyright statements on presentations or other conference materials.

    One accepted speaker per presentation will receive more details on registration.

    NOTE ON CO-PRESENTING: If you will be having more than one speaker or a panel session, each speaker does NOT need to complete this form. If the presentation is selected, additional speakers will be sent a link to submit their bio and other information.

    ICLR reserves the right to shorten submitted speaker bios, abstracts and titles to fit the conference parameters.

We may share your information with International Conference of Legal Regulators’ vendors related to registration, membership and 3rd party analytics related services.

You can see our Privacy Policy at The terms personal data and personally identified data are used interchangeably. the International Conference of Legal Regulators is a Controller of the personal data you (data subject) provide us. i3 Events is its Processor. The following types of personal data we collect from you on behalf of a Controller, may include, however are not limited to: Full name, telephone number, position, organization, credentials, membership, member number, login name, department, role, biography, and digital identity (photo).

    Why we need it - We need your personal data in order to allow the Controller to manage the submission, review, scheduling, and administration of your information through our software systems. If your submission is accepted and you agree to become a speaker at the conference, your name, image, bio, and, public social media account links will be listed on the conference website and in the conference app.

    What we do with it - Your personal data is processed in Glenview, IL located in the United States. Hosting and storage of your data takes place with Pressable which has a global footprint. As requested by International Conference of Legal Regulators, we may share your information with International Conference of Legal Regulators’ vendors related to registration, membership and 3rd party analytics services.

    How long we keep it - According to our Data Retention Policy we will keep your personal data for a period of 1 years from the last date we process your data on behalf of the Controller. After this period, your personal data will be irreversibly destroyed or anonymized. Any personal data held by us for marketing and service update notifications will be kept by us until such time that you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

    What are your rights? - Should you believe that any personal data we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you can request to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted, upon approval by the Controller. Please contact us
